Description:
Altea comes from the Greek Altahia which means “I heal”.
Marked by the passage of many civilizations such as the Iberians, Greeks, Phoenicians and Romans among others, Altea is a town influenced by all of them, but with a unique imprint.

In order to perceive the value of a local identity, people - young and old - must learn not only from concepts and skills, but must discover from values, beliefs, expectations, discourses and cultural processes.
Citizen Engagement becomes a powerful method for discovering a local identity.
Working with local communities allows a worldwide audience to learn (much more than reading from books, because most of an identity of cultural background is not written on paper), behaviours, mindsets, habits of mind and, for this reason, media recording becomes a powerful tool for understanding their world.
